Rolfing Structural Integration

Rolfing Structural Integration is a unique and highly effective method of physical manipulation and movement education. Its brings dramatic and long lasting results by releasing deep restrictions and tightness within your fascia.

Fascia is a highly complex and specialized network of connective tissue which is continuous throughout your entire body. Trauma, surgical procedures, inflammatory responses and habitual patterns create tightness throughout this network.

Rolfing is traditionally applied in a series of sessions. Each session is both a continuation of the previous and an introduction to the next. Through a combination of applied pressure and gentle movements, Rolfing frees and repositions the layers of fascia. As a result tension, tightness and habitual holding patterns are released, uncovering structural ease and balance within the body.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

The Vodder Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle technique that uses light touch to promote the flow of lymphatic fluid through the lymphatic system. It encourages the lymph to move more freely and helps to drain excess fluid out of the connective tissue.

The lymphatic system is a very important part of our immune system and relies on body movement and breathing to assist in its flow. Sometimes, due to illness or surgery, the lymphatic system becomes sluggish. Manual Lymphatic Drainage increases the flow of lymph fluid, stimulates your immune system, reduces swelling and relaxes your nervous system.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is available for Post Mastectomy patients, Lymphedema patients and Post Surgical patients.

About  Amanda

I am an experienced, intuitive and heart centered practitioner. I believe that Rolfing deeply affects us physically as well as emotionally, spiritually and energetically. The process changes the way we relate to and move through the world around us.

My personal journey as a breast cancer survivor led me to my extensive training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. I understand the sensitive needs of Oncology and Post surgical patients. The gentleness and effectiveness of MLD is a perfect modality for those in treatment and in recovery.

My years of experience allow me to create space for you to release and unwind the years of pain trauma and habitual patterns that are no longer serving you.

My professional career began in 1994 at the Atlanta School of Massage. I was accepted into the Rolf Institute for Basic Certification in 1998 and received my Advanced Certification in 2017. I am certified through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in the Vodder Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage specializing in Oncology and Post Operative MLD.
